Muhammad is a public sector consultant, who has a wealth of experience of working with government and public bodies, having previously held senior roles in the Government Legal Department and the Competition and Markets Authority in the UK and the Attorney General’s Office in Seychelles.
He has built up a strong reputation for being a trusted adviser to Ministers and senior officials in government, as well as to regulators and other public sector organisations. He prides himself on his ability to give risk-based and solutions-oriented advice, which allows clients to take robust decisions that are insulated against serious challenge.
Muhammad is also a practising barrister in England and Wales, where he acts for or against local authorities, central government departments, regulators, private companies, and individuals in the full range of contentious and non-contentious public law work, as well as subsidy control and public finance matters.
He is a highly-skilled trainer and has developed and delivered tailored training courses in both the UK and Seychelles. He also has a wide-range of strategic planning experience, having helped numerous organisations to develop and implement their strategic plans.
Muhammad is also an experienced and highly effective board member, having previously held roles on the boards of the Financial Services Authority Seychelles and SEYPEC, and is a well-respected trainer on board governance in Seychelles.
