Muhammad has extensive government and public sector experience, having previously held senior roles in the Government Legal Department and the Competition and Markets Authority in the UK, and the Attorney General’s Office in Seychelles, where he was Principal State Counsel with overall responsibility for the provision of legal advice to the Government of Seychelles and for all judicial review, constitutional and civil litigation matters involving the Government/State.

Muhammad has built up a strong reputation for being a trusted adviser to Ministers and senior officials in government, as well as to regulators and other public sector organisations. He prides himself on his ability to give risk-based and solutions-oriented advice, which allows clients to take robust decisions that are insulated against serious challenge.

He is a highly-skilled trainer and has developed and delivered public sector training courses in both the UK and Seychelles. He also has a wide-range of strategic planning experience, having helped several organisations (including the Attorney General's Office) to develop and implement their strategic plans.

Muhammad is also an experienced and highly effective board member, having previously held roles on the boards of the Financial Services Authority Seychelles and SEYPEC.
